Healing Tree Hope 2.10

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed (I Peter 2:24).

Healed people live as though they have recovered from their wounds. Belief in the divine healing process renews strength. Healing is not just a physical manifestation; it is also emotional, cognitive, and spiritual restoration.

To fully comprehend the fullness of restoration, one must perceive the process of healing. The process is time-honoring. The pathway to healing requires an outlook which endures discomfort for a season, knowing that such perseverance leads to relief from God-dishonoring behaviors with satisfying hope (Romans 5:3-4). The result of healing is restoration and strength to live as one justified by God. The justified life increases possibilities for divine results to flow into one’s life. Such eventuality decreases emotional, cognitive, and spiritual dis-ease.

Healing is also experiential. It is a journey through rough realities to redemptive restoration (Psalm 42:5-11). There are benefits to acknowledging the source of the dis-ease and trusting God in the journey. It is also important to connect with the innermost part of one’s being to discover the agitation and realize the depth of the dis-ease.

In the innermost place, there is understanding which will provide insight on how to hear from God, agree with His plan for healing, and navigate the journey to restoration. This is accomplished through divine awareness—how to connect with God’s plan to recognize sacred boundaries and land in a pleasant place (Psalm 16:5-11).  May Jehovah Rapha’s healing power sustain us all in 2026!
